Food is AMAZING and portions generous. Most places kill their veggies... theirs are perfect... hot with just the right amount of crunch, and they use bacon fat for their yorkies (a must if you were taught by an English woman). My friends and I always go every Friday night to the karaoke. It's one of the best places to go, and have a great time, and the food is delicious. The Waitresses, and all of the staff are awesome. First time being here. It's in an established neighborhood for the everyday person. It was a bit cold to have the patio opened but it looked good. They had a horse arena for people who felt like riding and stopping for a break. From the get go it was very ... welcoming. Apparently, it's a favourite gathering for bike riders. I can definitely see why people would want to come here. Upon entry greater by the barkeep as we approached the bar. Had a few drinks and some appies. New fave won't flavour of all time is the black Dragon. Delish! There was quite a large sitting area and they were adequately staffed which was good to see. The kitchen was pumping out delicious looking food steady. Everything was fresh and hot that needed to be and the beers were cold wet and yummy. Ended up having some great conversations with people at the bar. Really enjoyed the friendly atmosphere. This will be one of my new watering holes. Our first visit by accident and we all had really good time there! We went on Monday so they had Bingo. We had so much fun especially the girls (5&3) because they never did before. The foods were excellent so we will go back to have proper dinner because this ... time we didn't plan to be there for dinner. Great service! Friendly neighborhood pub, daily specials are great deal and place is nice in old school ways, especially their patio. Food is not really the best though in terms of quality and portion size but that is secondary as it is still a good place for gathering, office lunch, and ... beers. Read more
