I visited the restaurant to watch the England vs. Netherlands game and was disappointed by the service. Despite being a packed lunch crowd, there to watch the game there were only two waitresses and one barman to serve everyone. It took an hour just to get our drinks—a Pepsi and ... an iced tea. We tried to order food, but there was no one available to take our order. For a sports bar, it was severely understaffed. This experience was frustrating and detracted from the enjoyment of the game. Cool atmosphere, okay food, below average service. It’s not the politeness or the speed of the service… it’s the lack of wanting to make the experience enjoyable for the paying customer. I came in to watch the game (alone on a business trip). I gestured to an open table that looked ... nice “can I sit there to watch the game?” They responded “you can enjoy the game at the bar”. By the way… plenty of room. I ordered the fish tacos, “can I sub the chips for fries?” “No you pay extra”. Literally did the same thing at the Trading Post last night with no extra cost. Read more

Came once for a fundraiser, once because we wanted late night wings (and it happened to be in nightclub mode), and once for lunch. On all three occasions the food was decent and the service was very attentive and friendly. Prices are fair. I feel like the fried foods (wings, fries, ... fish tacos) retain too much oil (a sign of the oil not being hot enough) but the overall flavours are good. On Saturdays and Sundays they have a great breakfast special for 4.99! It can’t be beat. You get eggs, sausage, bacon and hash browns. The service was good. The place is also great for any live sporting events.

Great food but the service for the second part of our visit was not so great. The inside of this restaurant is very spacious with lots of great spots to sit. The decor is great and I especially loved the bookshelves and perusing the books that were there. They have a good ... selection on their menu and some good options for happy hour. Had the corn dog happy hour and wished I had ordered the trio as it was very tasty. I enjoyed the perogies and my friend had the fish and chips- both were delicious. The French fries were especially delicious- nice and crisp and very flavourful... I would come back just for the fries. Near the end it felt like our server had forgotten us. And when we were finally able to ask for our bill, it took about ten minutes before she reappeared. This was annoying, but overall I still think it's a great restaurant and I look forward to coming back, and hopefully the service will be better next time! Read more
