Have always had a great time with amazing service at Fox! I always come back and start with the Irish Nachos or their wings! Wood quality food and drinks, would definitely recommend!

Always a pleasure to have a beer here. The staff is super friendly, the food is well priced and they serve breakfast, lunch and dinner. They are always super accommodating of allergies, large parties, last-minute reservations and the like. Been coming here for years and everything is super consistent, though ... they don't have live bands as much as they did before Covid. Went in on Easter Sunday 🐣 it was very quiet. One guy at the bar and a table of two ladies. So you would think food and service would be good. Well nope we had to interrupt the staff tea party. Just to order another drink. The waitress and bartender ... sat there chatting thr entire time, not paying attention to the few customers in there. We had some gross 😝 hot wings and chilli cheese poutine which was beyond nasty. Fries were not used in the poutine. Definitely never going back. Read more

Went there to watch canucks game. Server was OK and tried hard. Nachos left very much to be desired...22 bucks worth. Hardly any cheese, 1 tablespoon of guacamole for 2 bucks, 1 tablespoon of salsa. Definitely not worth it. However, even though there was only one tablespoon ... each of sour cream and salsa, the beef fajita was good but I could have used a couple more tacos with it. The house IPA was standard fare, the red wine was a good selection. The chocolate fudge brownie was crusty and very tiny for 11 bucks. At this point I'm not sure if we will be back. It was not the greatest experience as far as food is concerned but the atmosphere was good. Read more

I was tired after a long day on a recent trip to British Columbia. Instead of driving somewhere for dinner, I decided to try the place next door to the hotel, Fox & Fiddle. I couldn't order online but could view the menu on their website. I called, ordered, and in ... 20 minutes, I was able to pick it up for "Carry Out." The menu is more than your typical pub food and includes an excellent selection of salads and flatbreads. I opted for the Fish and Chips. The meal was packaged well, hot, and overall very tasty. The fish was good quality with a mild batter fried crisp. The fries (chips) were excellent, with lots of potato heft. The cole slaw was almost added like an afterthought. The restaurant was busy when I arrived, but I could pick up my food when they said it would be ready. Overall, the prices are higher than in other similar places, but the food is enjoyable. And I am open to trying it out again when I am in town. Read more
