I've eaten here several times. Staff is always friendly. The food has always been good..

Jut went there last night and my friend got drugged by either the bartender or waitress because she's feeling pretty sick and her stomach is hurting. They poisoned her on purpose. Authorities will be notified of this as she's going to the medical clinic right now.

Good food and drinks great service

Unfortunately Google maps does not allow businesses to respond to reviews, but this will suffice until it is removed. I was the cook on shift when Jennifer Parnell and the group she was with ate at Baselines Langley, and I would like to offer my apologies for any part I ... played in their disappointment with the food and service. I will not offer any excuses save that we do not keep large quantities of some ingredients on hand, and due to unfortunate coincidence, this group ordered many of them. I prepared their orders as quickly as was possible, and I am somewhat relieved that there doesn't seem to have been any issues with the quality of the food. I do not ask that the review be changed, if that is how the young lady felt she and her friends were treated, then that is what she should write. I would like to invite the reviewer and a friend to come for dinner again at my expense(food only), and add a note to her review should she find the food and service improved over her last visit. I have considerable experience in the foodservice industry and would like to suggest a few things to anyone reading this; Even if it is just a quick call as you get ready to go, please notify ANY restaurant or Pub of groups larger than 5, include a brief description of your group as well. Cooks who have been in the business a long time get pretty good at predicting what people will order based on the nature of the event and the people attending, and can prepare accordingly. Servers can have bad nights and mistakes are sometimes made, if the mistake results in something like the taco salad mentioned in the review, the item should be removed from the bill. However, it is against liquor board code to discount drinks as this is seen as encouraging over-consumption, so any server that values their job will offer to comp a food item but never liquor, and they should not be blamed for being unable to do so. I believe some of the times in the review have been exaggerated, and younger patrons tend towards unfounded hyperbole when writing negative commentary, but that does not change the fact that they left unhappy. Hands down, one of the worst experiences I've ever had. A larger group of friends (about 12) went there tonight for dinner at 7pm. We were one of 3 (maybe 4) tables in the establishment. We ordered in small sections because we were all catching up. The server continuously overlooked people ... and did not stick around long enough for a second person to get a drink order in. After asking for napkins three times because someone at our table had chicken wings, I had to go up to the bar and ask for napkins and wet ones as our server never brought them to us. Not only that, there was not sufficient cutlery for the meals. The biggest frustration for us was four taco salads were ordered at the same time (first food order of the large group), yet only three were brought to our table. When inquired about her salad, my friend was told that her salad was on its way. Server came back twice to confirm the order and the modification (no olives). 45min-1hr later, after everyone else who had ordered after her, had eaten she received her taco salad. Complaint about the length of wait was brought up, but they were told that nothing could be done. That, in my opinion, is ridiculous, as that order was put in before a majority of the orders, yet was the last to come out. It is a salad. Unfortunately that was not the only issue we faced tonight. It seemed like there were more excuses instead of solutions. It also took 45 minutes to settle our bills, which were not organized and had to be changed multiple times. A simple dinner turned into a three hour ordeal. I will not be returning to this pub, nor will I be recommending this place to any one. I left frustrated and not impressed.
