I've ordered from this place many times and it's always so good. Everything I've ever gotten has been amazing, and they're definitely my go to sushi place. One of my favourite spots! Fresh ingredients, nice preparation, yummy food, and excellent service! A friend suggested this place to me recently, and I ordered a tray of a variety of rolls for a dinner I was hosting; it was great. Today we went to try the Ramen soup, and it was delicious!!! ... This was my first time trying out a sushi restaurant since the thought of raw fish didn't appeal to me. I am so glad I stepped out of my comfort zone and came by here! The lady working the counter was lovely and very helpful explaining everything to someone who ... had no idea! There is a small refrigerated counter that has some premade sushi you can easily buy and take. As well they have a huge menu to choose from of items they make on demand. We chose several different options from the refrigerated counter and were not disappointed! Huge pieces and really delicious sauces on them! We recently moved into the neighbourhood and our hopes of finding a great local sushi restaurant (one that compares to our old favourite from our old neighbourhood) weren't very high. However, we just had our first takeaway experience at My Name Is Sushi, and I can definitely say we will ... be back! Despite our large order, we only sampled a small fraction of the extensive menu. The options to choose from were great (honestly even a little intimidating), and every single item we ordered, from sunomono salad to spicy gyoza to rolls, were fresh and flavourful! When we arrived to pick up our order, the team was apologetic that it wasn't ready yet, but they worked hard to ensure we didn't have to wait long. The friendly staff, tasty food, and convenient location are huge draws and we look forward to our next visit! Read more
