My teenage daughter wanted takeout from one her favourite restaurants for her birthday dinner so asked for her go to dishes: butter chicken, veggie pakoras and potato naan. The dishes were hot, fresh, tasty and perfectly spiced - we also ordered a tarka daal and it was fabulous. ... They catered a friend's wedding recently with four different events. Each event had a unique menu from a different part of India and each one was executed to perfection. The owners are wonderful folk who went over and beyond to ensure everything was perfect. They provided phenomenal service and food ... of utmost quality. We absolutely love a good curry, which these guys have for sure! Unfortunately they say "rice is included" with curries (definitely reflected in price $$) and then send the rice in gravy cups! The portion of rice we recieved was almost comical, I would have laughed but I was hungry ... so it was really not funny. I wouldn't order from here again it's too expensive for what you get, I'll go somewhere else for curry next time. Oh and we ordered in because it was my brother's birthday, and we were surprising him with his fav. Total bust! Update: I have enjoyed curry from a multitude of fair priced restaurants offering authentic Indian cuisine. The prices were fair and included a proper portion of rice, also I make my own curry at home regularly. Serves good Indian food. Price is on par with other Indian restaurants in Victoria BC. We had Butter Chicken, Chicken Tikka Masala, and the Mixed Sizzler, with Garlic Naan and Rice.
