Ma Miller’s Pub at the Goldstream Inn - Langford, British Columbia

This is a local pub. The food was very slow, but mostly great. The poutine was wonderful, the potato skins had very little flavor. There was some local live entertainment, which is good for many, but I'm not a big fan. Burgers and such were good, ... salad was huge, but very plain and hard to eat the whole strips if bacon and massive stringy carrot/red topping. Our go to place! The waiters are great and food is consistently delicious! My favorite is their new chicken strips (sounds funny but they are the best). The staff always makes you feel welcome, and always have a good meal :)

It's a good bar, one of those "local watering hole" type places with regulars. Not a bad thing, though if you're into that! Foods not bad, prices are decent. I enjoy their pizzas. At the time it was fairly empty so service was very quick. The Caesar salad had lots of bacon and cheese and for an added cost some prawns were added, very tasty. The roast beef dinner was reasonably priced and was very large in size with Yorkshire pudding, mashed potatoes ... and fresh vegetables. Read more

I have been 4 times since opening a couple of weeks ago. My last visit was with my mom and dad and my 2 yr old son for lunch. I had a burger and fries which were awesome! My burger came hot, well seasoned and cooked perfectly. The rest of ... the food at the table looked great! My dad had the club and could barely get it in his mouth because it was so full of goodness. I can't say enough about the service. Our table was visited by 3 different staff members, other than our waitress, just making sure we were happy. These visits were in no way intrusive, and really just made us feel like we were cared about. My first visit, I was surprised by how much a pint of beer cost so I messaged one of the owners about it. Her response was that they agreed with my feedback. They lowered the price and then bought me a beer. Incredible! I love this local pub! I'm excited to see cars in the parking lot again.
