THIS PLACE IS CLOSED!!!! Ilove that you can go in and shop and get interesting and hard to find culinary items. Love the local and organic nature of the food. The staff in the supplements area are friendly and helpful. I was in at Christmas ... looking for something specific as a gift and not only did they have it but they had two options. The fresh made smoothies and coffee are excellent. I stop in just for those regularly. I do find a lot of empty spaces on the shelves of the dry goods. Often it looks like someone forgot to order the stock. Or like they are going out of business. Read more

Really neat selection of grocery items, health foods, and prepared foods.

Friendly staff and management. They have most of what I'm looking for. Good smoothies. Sometimes a little more expensive than the big grocery stores. (EDIT) Some shelves have been half stocked or nearly empty for a number of weeks and some items that I come here to get are often not ... in stock. Plus some items I buy elsewhere are priced quite a bit higher than Zehrs or Goodness Me. Read more

HEALTH SAFETY VIOLATIONS. David's Gourmet have catered for us twice at work, both times delivering Chicken Parmigiana sandwiches. On both occasions, the sandwiches contained raw uncooked chicken. See attached pictures. Avoid this place!!

While I will give Kara's, The Healthy Butcher and Fiddle Heads 5 Stars, David's has very poor inventory control and I can rarely get the same thing twice. I'm referring to brands of olive oil, 99% dark Chocolate, Kitchen Basics Veal Stock, Lotus Forbidden Rice and the cheese selection ... is pathetic. I don't bother planning to get these items there anymore. But rave review for the exquisite meats available at the Healthy Butcher, fresh and organic produce selection at Kara's, the products, supplements at Fiddle Heads, especially the Guernsey Milk, fabulous water buffalo yoghurt and organic fermented sauerkraut.
