Horrible service. I made a cake order for a family members 49th birthday. I wanted a FRESH, mango raspberry cake. I made it very clear I wanted the cake to be fresh and delicious since. Once me and my family are the cake, the cream had zero flavour, tasted stale, ... and the cake itself was dry. I felt horrible for the cake I had given him since he was very excited to try it. I went in to speak to the lady and she treated me horribly and refused to give my money back. She offered me $12…. the cake was $70-$80. ! I just moved to Kitchener and was craving a bakery, I finally found nougat and the pastries were very good but extremely over priced! I’ve been to many bakery’s and I honestly couldn’t believe the price. 7 dollars for a pastry and 4 dollars for a cookie. They are ... good tho. The owner was very rude I don’t think she liked me for some reason. I couldn’t even look around without her staring at me the hole time, maybe because I’m young? I don’t know but it was extremely uncomfortable. I’m pissed about how rude she was because it’s the closest bakery to my house and now I have to go all the way to Waterloo to get a pastry and some respect. Nougat Bakery, has always been an amazing place to find breads and sweeter treats. This location also has a small deli counter so I was able to pick up a ham and Swiss cheese on a croissant, but I should not have opted for the panini treatment. They make beautiful cakes and other treats. I believe they also have a deli. I like the cakes because generally they aren’t too sweet!

I tried their cookies and found them to be quite delicious. However, the drawback is that they come at a rather steep price, costing over $4 per cookie. Given my positive experience with the cookies, I'm considering trying their cakes next.
