First time grabbing dinner from Egg roll king today. So... This is the best Chinese take out I've had. I literally took 5 bites and had to stop to write this review. The food isn't greasy, the portion sizes are great, the prices are more than fair, the employee, who I think ... was the owner, was incredibly nice and welcoming and rushed our order for us! To top this all off, he must have skipped the prompt for tipping on the debit machine before letting me pay. Next time (and there will be a next time!) I was just in there to get lunch while working around the corner. I have had they're egg rolls before and they were indeed the best I've ever had. This time I ordered a combo off of the owner's recommendation. It is FANTASTIC. Everything tastes fresh and made to order, ... this is definitely one of the best spots in town hands down I recommend it to anyone. The price is amazing for the amount and quality of the food, there should be a line out the door every day as far as I'm concerned. Read more

I ordered delivery on Boxing Day. I hadn't tried it before so we ordered 4 of the "Chef's Specialty" dishes. The highlights were the Egg Drop Soup, A-One Rice, and Beef Flat Rice noodles. The chicken balls and generally the fried dishes didn't seem to hold up to the delivery drive to Waterloo. ... The taste was fine, but no crisp. The noodle dishes were nice. The spice level by default is very mild, enough that I'd ask next time if they do "spicy" and see if it's something they offer. All in all, I am stuffed, went back for three plates. Food was disgusting. Waited over 2 hours to get bad food. Chicken balls were raw and doughy, fried rice was alllll mushy, broccoli was completed mush that you can swallow. The beef was terrrrible. And the egg roll was cold and raw and just far out gross. No one wanted ... to eat any of it and now most of us cant stop going to the bathroom.
