Tried this place out for the first time tonight. Its a cute and cozy little diner thats only been open since Sept 2015, there was no A/C so sitting there on a warm day, it got hot in there. The staff was very nice and friendly. The food was pretty ... good. My son and I had the bacon cheese burger, the burger was greasier then we liked but it was still good and you pick what comes on it, My daughter got the kids chicken fingers and they were good, hubby got their 2 pc meatloaf dinner with mashed potatoes and he really enjoyed it. Kids drinks were only $1.75, tea was $2.25, and my room temp tap water was $1.75, which I was surprised to see that they charged me for tap water! Read more

Awful place to go go for breakfast!!!! I went with my mom and all my sister's for my birthday in March and none of us liked it! Everything was so dry and burnt... the home fries weren't even cooked all the way...

This is the worst fish n chips I have ever tasted, it was dry, overcooked to the point it was tasteless, we spent $64 on a take out for Good Friday and ended up throwing it all in garbage. The fries were dried up and was like chewing chew leather. ... They definitely were not eatible, this was the first and would never go there again. Read more

Terrible breakfast, was there at 1:00 in the afternoon, was charged for two coffees, we never had. Eggs were overdone and the home fries were deep fried and so hard, they were not edible. Ham was one slice, cut in half, not going back.

My experience was nothing but great from the 1st time I walked in this little family owned restaurant. As I walked in the door the waiter at the time was serving another customer but at the same time addressed me to feel free to sit where me and my family ... would like, with in minutes he was at our table with 4 glasses of water menus and the cutlery. Few short minutes after that he was right back to take our order. The food was amazing and for the prices we were amazed on how much food we received. The waiter took a bit of time to tell us the story behind BIG GRANDMA'S and how the name was chosen. He offered us dessert but we had to decline as we had no room left, kids got to leave their hand prints on a wall and they talked about it all the way home.
