Kypreos Restaurant - Kitchener, Ontario

After a few bad experiences in a row at our usual family restaurant and breakfast place, we decided to look for a new "go to." We tried Kypreos and weren't disappointed. We went at a peak time on a Saturday when the restaurant was busy and we were greeted and welcomed immediately ... when we arrived. We were seated right away. Our server came by right away to introduce himself and take drink orders. Drinks arrived. Our server was excellent, he answered questions about the menu, noted one of our party's food allergy, and was very attentive throughout our visit. This is a must go to restaurant. Party of 8 seated immediately. The breakfast choices were delicious sounding and our choices absolutely wonderful. Waitstaff was so courteous and friendly. Primeal bacon, can’t find in the States was yummy. Prices are reasonable and portions were very generous. Atmosphere was nice. Parking ... was not too plentiful as it is shared with other businesses. Some amazing and fresh Greek food! As soon as I walked in here I was pleasantly surprised by the friendly and homey type restaurant. It was very welcoming. The food was crazy fresh. I ordered a chicken souvlaki pita with fries/side gravy/Greek salad and everything was spot on in flavor. The fries ... and gravy were absolutely delicious, I have no idea how they make their fries but they are crunchy on the outside with a soft centre and the gravy! I want to be in a bath with that gravy, it had a great mix of meats and saucy goodness. The wrap was killing it on the flavor and had a good amount of chicken/veg stuffing with an amazing tzatziki sauce. Greek salad was refreshing with the dressing, amazing olives, tomatoes, and cheese. Everything was, hands down, perfect and you can definitely taste the homemade/non frozen food from here. I also didn't feel that sick or curdled stomach feeling even though I was absolutely stuffed and needed a wheel barrel to get out! Staff were super nice and professional. Above and beyond service. Food was good. Our waitress recommended the calamari said she eats it herself and I was not disappointed at all. My friend got a big serving of spaghetti and finished their dish which speaks for itself. The sever was kind, funny, helpful and very likeable. They have a nice menu. ... Everyone there seemed happy. We cleberated with a group of 20 and had a great time. The waitress was excellent, the service and the food was great. The dishes were a good price and a generous portion. There's parking at the back and washrooms available too. Wheelchair accessible. All the dishes were liked by all the guests. Great ... job on the food! Read more
