McCabe’s Irish Pub & Grill - Kitchener, Ontario

We had a great experience at McCabe's today! We got parking right up front. Kiki was a fabulous server! Food was awesome! I got the (1pc) fish and 1/2 n 1/2 sides with lattice fries and Caesar salad. Washed 'er down with a couple Heineken 0.0's! He got the wing ... special. The menu and the website say half price wings from 2pm-5pm... But they don't open till 4pm. So I wouldn't recommend going in between 2 and 4 lol but the wings are worth it so shoot for that happy hour! Read more

The drinks are really good and affordable. Food tastes good. Service is excellent. I'll definitely comeback again if I'm in the area.

Had dinner on the patio. Server was delightful and welcoming. Fish and chips where larger than life had to take half home. Paid the bill and where never rushed to leave definitely will come back.

Ordered through Uber eats so was unable to go take our food back to the restaurant to complain/exchange. Was TOTALLY disappointed to have spent so much money on VERY disappointing food AND they messed up the order. The Greek salad was missing the black olives. They used goat cheese on it ... instead of feta. Ordered “Garlic Cheesy Bread” that as my pictures shows, had no cheese at all on it. Just plain old garlic bread for the price of “cheesy bread”. And their antijitos are literally a thin layer of cream cheese in tortilla. No flavor. No spice. No jalapeño at all. My order of fries was the only thing made right and tasting good. I tried calling the restaurant to explain the mess up they made on my order but no one answered the phone even though I called many times. I tried emailing the restaurant to express my disappointment and ask how they can remedy my totally botched meal. No reply. I gave feedback on UberEats as well. Felt like such a waste of money to be missing ingredients and a disappointing dinner. I don’t normally write Google reviews except to give positive feedback but with not receiving a reply from the restaurant I am left at a loss and I feel reviewing on here is the only way to be heard. Went to meet a friend from Toronto to Kitchener. Thought we would spend nice time. Ambience is good food is of great quantity. Feel they need more front staff to take care of customers. Glasses they served the beer was not cleaned. Price is reasonable likewise the beer. Ordered poutine, ... wrap and calamari. Good portion but disappointed on the fact that they have very few options on food. Would recommend more food options in an Irish pub. Read more
