Jack Astor’s - Kitchener, Ontario

Jack's has always been my favourite restaurant to go to, and tonight's experience just solidified that. The atmosphere is always pleasant, the staff is always amazing, but tonight our food was taking an unusually long time to arrive after ordering. It was date night for my husband and I so ... we didn't mind at first (three little ones at home means any extra time spent together is great), but we did have plans after dinner that we couldn't be late to. The manager, Jack, came over and was 100% honest about a mix-up with our order. He and our server, Kayla, made sure our food came out as quick as possible after that and were nothing but apologetic. They did everything they could to make it right, and what would have been a disappointing experience was completely turned around by their refreshing honesty, empathy and commitment to providing the same great customer service and experience that I'm used to at Jack Astor's. Thank you, Kayla and Jack, for everything tonight. Mistakes will always happen, but how you handle them proves how top notch you really are. Chicken wings were amazing - very flavourful and crunchy. Tacos as a starter was good. Everything came quickly, and the service was great.

Food is always amazing, I like coming here at least once every 2 weeks, the best thing I like getting from here is the chicken club in wrap with a side of sweet fries and a corona to go along with it. Amazing service as well Andrea is usually the ... one that receives me when I’m here and it’s great because she also speaks Spanish, and it’s great having charming people that understand what you’re saying when you forget some words. Always been a fan of Jack's - went and had a fantastic time. Andrea was great, really invited the experience super friendly! Had Nachos and some drinks with my buddies. Great Patio for those looking to enjoy the weather (huge selling point for me, especially in Canada lol) overall got ... my recommend! Read more

We were very very impressed with our Friday night family birthday meal. There were zero negatives and so many reasons they deserve this 5 star review. The food was perfect. We had 2 orders of steak, 2 different chicken sandwiches and a coconut curry bowl, guacamole and chips ... and 3 different desserts and everything was perfect. We eat out a lot, this blew us away, we will be back for sure. The service was top notch and the live music really made it extra special. The solo artist was very talented and had an excellent diverse playlist that had us dancing in our seats. Highly recommend is an understatement.
