Dining at The Purple Pear was an exceptional experience from start to finish. From the moment we walked in, the owner's personal attention made us feel truly welcomed. The Ribeye, cooked to perfection, surpassed any steak I've had elsewhere. Its tenderness and flavor were unmatched, making it a standout dish. ... My wife's Surf and Turf was equally delightful. Wow what a spot! Everything we ordered was out of this world, all seafood cooked with the love of tenderness. The steak was seared and seasoned to perfection, the fresh baked buns. Had a dinner with the family here on a busy Friday night. Staff are attentive. For appetizers we had calamari we thought was ok. The breading was very loose and the dipping sauce (a balsamic reduction) to be very sweet and acidic. For my main I had the Orange Ginger Salmon Fillet. ... Salmon fillet was cooked perfectly and crispy. The orange sauce is well done and a nice combination with the fish. The side roasted veggies were good enough. This place makes me smile! Food has become corporate, big box and to find the little guy who cares is a real treat. We arrived when the restaurant opened, there was a line forming and Victor greeted us at the door. The restaurant has a flare of an old steak house as it was Martin's previously. The decor ... is nice and the environment super clean. The food and service was spectacular and the bread set the stage. You can tell if the epicurial experience will be good from the bread and wow it truly performed, We started with escargot, and pleasantly recieved many more than the traditional 6 dimple plate holds. It was delicious! Mom and I both ordered the sea bass, the fish was perfectly prepared and the potato croquette was my highlight. It is formed like a pear and tantalizes the palate.
