Chicago Style Pizza Shack - Hamilton, Ontario

We enjoyed their 14” deep dish pizza. Our server warned us that it was big enough for 5-6 people. She wasn’t wrong - it was plenty big! The crust was crispy from the edges to the bottom. The sauce was delicious. They aren’t shy on the toppings. Also has lots ... of gooey stringy cheese. We started our meal with salad. The house made dressing was wonderful. Just the right amount of tang to it. We left room for dessert. Tiramisu and Black Forest cheese cake. Both were beautifully plated. We cannot recommend this place enough! It has a very comfortable atmosphere, like dining at home. Our server, Jennifer, was very kind, lighthearted, and very knowledgable about the menu and restaurant history. The prices of food and drinks are very reasonable. I've never had food like this before. Everything about ... the pizzas was perfect, appetizers were very reasonable, and desserts were clearly made in-house as well. We ordered Chicago style stuffed pizza (vegetarian) and it was so delicious. The waiting time was 40 min and the place is not so big for dinning so you have to wait or reserve the spot. The cost for small pizza is around $45 with tax but it is worth ... it. Read more

The Stuffed Pizza is AMAZING! We were running late and really wanted to try it, they were able to accommodate us by having it ready when we got there. Our server (didn't get her name) was excellent! Good food but not the full chicago deep dish experience. The cheese was not as much as the authentic version. For the high price we pay, would be nice to have the full experience, still nonetheless good food, prob would not need to go back!
