Marciano’s Pasta Cafe - Hamilton, Ontario

Have had 2 very recent experiences that were excellent! Pasta was fresh and staff was very accommodating for making changes to some menu items (substituting items). The head chef is incredibly friendly and always says hello. Our waiter was also very friendly and was a funny gentleman who was quick ... with a joke. The dining room is a bit on the smaller side but I personally find that more enjoyable for a quieter relaxing experience. The pasta dishes we had were excellent followed by excellent coffee and desert. The pasta and sauce all tasted fresh and made in house. The service was amazing! I would come back here just for that I would have to give it a lower review because the food was bland. My wife and i ordered Fettuccine Carbonara which came with a salad and the Italiano Pizza. The salad was really good, it had a nice fresh house ... made balsamic vinaigrette dressing. The pasta was really good, fresh made in house daily. Nice and creamy. Just lacked flavour The pizza was nice and cheesy with a decent amount of toppings. Nothing to complain about there. Marcianos is a place my grandparents take me every time I visit, it has become the meet up spot us. The food there is wonderful, everything tastes so good and you can really tell they put time and care into every dish. The staff are so kind and always makes ... us feel so welcome and special whenever we visit, I could rave on about how good the pastas are there but it’s better you just go and try it yourself. Marcianos has become my absolute favorite restaurant due to the food and wonderful service. If you want to go somewhere that you can spend hours talking about how fresh and delicious the food tastes this place is for you. Read more

First of all Richard! Explained everything to us, and I mean what the special was, other options, and he took pride in his job, being welcoming and diligent. The food was tasty, the portion sizes decent, even the coffee was nice. Do you think Rich would chill when it came time ... to pick the desserts? Nope.
