Reviews for Himalya Restaurant in Hamilton, Ontario
Visited this restaurant a few times in the last 2 weeks. Hoping for a better service each time it was somehow worse. Definitely will not be back. The place is borderline disgusting in terms of cleanliness. Employees are sweating and you can visibly see the sweat dropping into the sweets as ... they bring out the tray. I can only imagine what is happening in the back. The customer service - rude. Impolite. Attitude. Food quality: mid at best. After seeing the disgusting atmosphere you don’t even wanna take a bite. If you value your health and sanity - stay away. Read more
We had takeout at work today and it was my first time eating from this place. I had the Vegetarian Thali and it was delicious. There were four dishes and bread. I have no idea what they were called except for the rice but I will definitely get it again.
Best Jalebi in GTA. Ras Malai is also good. Gulab Jaman is nice. Microwave the jalebi / gulab jaman for 15 seconds & you will love it. Seemed only like a sweets shop. But we will visit again to try other food items.
Love this place! I am not a vegetarian, but you won’t miss meat when you eat here. Always stop for a Thali when I’m in area; seems to be slightly different on different days of the week. Their samosas are fantastic, as is their great selection of Indian desserts.
Today, we tried their dish. It was good quality, tasty, and offered marginal value. However, the service was poor as there was a long queue, and both lady staff members were on the phone for an extended time, ignoring the waiting customers. The space was small, congested, and floors, ... table not clean and food wastes presnted. These areas need improvement. Read more
