I got the small halibut and chips and man was it ever a small portion of fish; as you can see in the picture. For $14 I expected more. I’ve been to a few fish and chip places and I expected the small order of fish to be a bit ... bigger than that. The taste was good though, the fish was tasty and the fries were as well. Great little spot for fish and chips. They have other things on the menu but fish and chips are their top seller. It’s all made fresh to order. The batter wasn’t too heavy and the fish tasted fresh. The chips were a good accompaniment but the fish was the main ... event. Th gravy we got was British style gravy more of a herb taste than beef and a little thinner compared to Canadian gravy. Fantastic fish and chips shop! Delicious tasting fresh fish, with proper fries and friendly service. May take longer to prepare and serve than your regular old fast food place, but that's to be expected. Seems like a lot of people enjoy picking up to take home; would recommend!
