5star based on nostalgia as this was definitely a blast from the past. Ambiance is the same..same seating area while u wait for all parties to arrive..same decor and booths and wood and wallpaper...and rug( ok hopefully they were changed out from 50yrs ago, but what the heck. It brought ... us back to our youth. The food didn't disappoint as once again, the Jaeger schnitzel was as I remembered it...tenderly breaded, delicious gravy with fresh mushrooms. The spezel(sp?) was soft and delish. Veggies were as I remember...ok, maybe I don't remember the veggies but slightly overcooked and over garliced. But nonetheless, the pallet was not disappointed. Price was reasonable and I do know that, that has changed since 50 yrs ago. My husband and son( first time for a schnitzel and loved it) both enjoyed the meal, our waitress was amazing and of course, I forgot her name. We finished the meal off with nothing other than their infamous black forest cake (hubby's favourite). From the moment we walked in we felt like we were in another country. Hayley, our server, was excellent on her quality checks and the food was amazing! We got a 2 person platter which had a bit of everything! The total bill was so reasonable even with the price ... of inflation. Highly recommend! Read more

If a you’re craving a home cooked meal, this is the spot. Cozy interior, with superb service. Our waitress Hayley was amazing! Probably one of the best schnitzel I’ve had.

If you’re looking for comfort food in Hamilton, well this is the place! All the staff here is welcoming and kind. My server Shania was attentive and sweet.
