Beyond the Batter Cupcakes - Hamilton, Ontario

We have had the pleasure to try the sweets at Beyond The Batter a few times now. Service has always been great and friendly. The selection of cupcakes, cookies and other treats is always excellent. This trip we got a few cookie sandwiches, brownies and nanaimo bar squares. All tasted ... great and were fresh. Prices were reasonable, compared to other bakeries in the area, also to note the portion sizes are very generous. Definitely worth checking out Beyond the Batter to cure your next sweet tooth. I always had enjoy the cupcakes in the past especially super kid flavour. However it was my last minute decision to take variety flavour for my son’s special day to surprise him. So I had decided to do the walk in to choose variety of flavours of the day. I ... was very disappointed since a couple of them taste and feel like it was a week old cupcake all stale and hard. The best cupcakes everr!!! Love the red velvet and Noreen the most! No matter what time you go there are fresh cupcakes available. All of their cupcakes are amazing. You can never go wrong with a dozen.

The variety!!! Absolutely love getting cupcakes from Beyond the Batter. There are so many flavours to choose from on any given day. I've called in ahead of time to order a dozen, and I've gone in person to the shop to pick and choose from what's on display. They have rotating ... flavours, so make sure to check out their social media account or their website to see what flavours are on for the week. Their cupcakes are moist and not too sweet. The icing is a little on the sweet side, but that's what cupcakes are - dessert! They do have vegan an gluten-free cupcake options as well, though the flavour selection isn't as great. I have yet to try their other selection of sweets: cheesecake in a jar, sandwich cookies, brownies, etc. I look forward to trying these soon! It does get quite busy at the storefront, so be patient.
