Amo Gelato Cafe - Hamilton, Ontario

Great service and lovely location. My expresso gelato was way too bland with hardly any coffee taste yet the lemon was much tastier!

I had better gelatos sorry, we order chocolate mint, rocket and trapox and it was either too sweet or not strong enough.

Benese Mountain Dogs love Ice cream and Gelato. My pawrents decided to go for gelato tonight. Of course they gotta take me, cause I used an old berner mind trick. Gotta say Amo's peanut butter gelato gets 5 tails up from me. Was slobbering fantastic!! So be sure to get ... your special canine a treat when you visit. cute little ice cream shop. even the smallest cup is enough but it’s hard to limit yourself with only one flavor. my favourites so far are hazelnut and chocolate peanut butter. try not to visit late at night for many flavors won’t last that long.

I’ve always loved Amo Gelato but have noticed in the last few years that the customer service has gone downhill greatly. Last night I went in, I was greeted by one person, the others on their phones and packing up, I understand that it was close to the time of closing… At ... the till, the interaction was very short, I complimented her nails, and she said “thanks, that’s $7.48 debit or credit?” I’ve been told there’s another ice cream shop that’s opened up on locke, I think I’ll give their business a try moving forward.
