I ordered a shrimp and pork lo mein. No taste very very plain and noodles are white 2 shrimp and 1 piece of pork. Very disappointed

Was concerned given the 3.5 rating however we wanted a sit down Chinese food restaurant for mothers day. Not a lot of choices, even fewer the day prior. They took our reservation for 11 with no hesitation which was a surprise. What a nice dinner we enjoyed, food was great, ... service was exceptional, perfect atmosphere to suit the food of choice. Thanks EP for a very enjoyable mothers day dinner for our family. We'll be back! Read more

Better than expected or based on what I read via Google reviews. Was in the Hamilton area and was craving Chinese cuisine for late dinner ... East Place wasn't my first choice but I'm glad it was my second choice! My first choice restaurant was closing in 30 minutes (9pm), ... so we went here. Reviews were so so, so I was skeptical at first ... BUT the food we ordered was FANTASTIC! Ordered (1) Cantonese Chow Mein, (2) Beef with Onions, (3) General Tao Chicken, and (4) plain rice. All ordered items arrived quickly and were tasty, no complaints. The interior decor is very much themed like a Chinese restaurant. Affordable pricing. Thanks for the great meal! Read more
