The staff are friendly enough and the place is clean. However the kitchen couldn’t cook an egg properly if their life depended on it . Eggs come out with brown and crispy edges from being cooked at maximum heat on the flat top . Omelettes are completely flat crunchy and ... dark brown. Honestly there isn’t much good I can say about this place. Me and my family of 4 got seated at 12pm, and got our food served at around 1:10pm. The hostess at the front was a complete jerk, rolling her eyes at patrons, not dressed for the job, and audibly sighing ... when she had to do her job. Instead of seating customers she was taking breaks outside. Through the entire one hour wait, our server did not once come to our table and apologize to us, or offer us more coffee or anything if the sort. Instead, she was sitting at the back PICKING HER NOSE, and digging her fingers into her ears. The food was average at best, and the service and atmosphere was some of the worst i’ve experienced. I used to be a loyal patron here, coming around twice a month, but this is certainly my last time. I strongly advise everyone not to come to this establishment. And a message to the restaurant. We picked Maria’s for breakfast after our group run and WOW, this place is a hidden gem. The service was amazing and our server was lovely, and especially generous with coffee refills. I had The Bluto and it was delicious, eggs were cooked perfectly, the pancake was yummy and the crispy hash ... browns were delicious top tier. The portions were also really good, managed to take some ham and hash browns home. 10/10 would go again! Read more

Best place in Hamilton for home comfort food, massive portions (we get take home boxes every time theres so much left after) great staff, and really yummy well made food. Amazing. Home made caesar salad dressing always makes it hard for me to order something different. We’ve been many times for breakfast and lunch and always enjoy ourselves. They are now serving dinner as well! You cannot go wrong with anything you order here. Breakfast is good - perfect crispy ... home fries. The burgers are good.If you want a TRULY massive and tasty smoked meat sandwich this is also the place to go. The chicken fingers have a nice light breading and are made fresh in house.
