I had a lovely dinner. The service was outstanding, and the atmosphere was perfect for a relaxing and enjoyable meal. The view is beautiful to say the least.
Just had our wedding at Edgewater manor yesterday. In the past we have been for dinner, my wife’s bridal shower, and for an engagement party. Every time we have been so impressed with the incredible staff and delicious food. The ambiance is obviously beautiful but there is so much more ... here than just a beautiful lakeside restaurant rich with history. Last night we were absolutely blown away! The staff are incredibly accommodating and always checking on guests. They were able to perform last minute changes with our less than ideal weather conditions and are all proficient in same day set-up, organization and coordinating. The wine and drinks are top notch and everyone was so impressed with the service. The food here has always been unbelievable. We did our tasting prior to, which was actually just a huge 4 course meal - which was the exact same quality for our 83 guests. During our ceremony, Edgewater provided a beautiful lakeside backdrop. And for our reception, the dining room was a perfect aesthetic and an intimate dancefloor. We want to thank Edgewater for truly giving us the best day of our lives. We cannot recommend them enough. The atmosphere was magical, loved the decor, Lakeview so tons of photo opportunities while you're there. The staff were very welcoming and friendly. The price was a little high for the proportion, we got the filet mignon. The French onion soup was delicious and very high quality. The bread starter came ... with a delicious butter and red pepper paste spread which was unique. Read more
Had my moms 65th bday with 14 guests - picked a set menu with some upgrades +add ons and we totally enjoyed ourselves! Highly recommend menu E upgrade pasta to sacchetti and add truffle fries for the table. We had some celiac/diet restrictions and everything worked out great for them ... also.
