Well back in the day you could eat inside, after covid, not anymore. We've been coming here for years when Danny used to own it. Ownership is in great hands. They always take care of us. JarDoo chicken wings. Ohhhh I love.
I’m new to the area and tried Chan’s for the first time today….safe to say that I will definitely be going back again soon! Amazing food with great prices! 😋
We decided to change it up a bit, by trying a different Chinese Food Restaurant in Dundas, ON. On this day 01/24/2024 at 4:00 P.M. we ordered in for take-out order (they no longer have a dine in option) post COVID. We ordered (1) egg roll, (1) Won Ton ... Soup, an order of Sweet & Sour lightly breaded Chicken Balls and (1) order of BBQ Pork Fried Rice. Was told about 15 minutes for pickup, food was ready promptly and met with friendly proprietors. Took the food home, it was very enjoyable, fresh, the lightly breaded Chicken Balls were golden brown and were lightly bread, with generous amounts of tender chicken inside. The BBQ Pork Fried Rice, was also good, huge chunks of BBQ pork throughput the nicely fried rice (not greasy) and browned nicely. The Sweet & Sour sauce for the chicken balls, was nice and sweet (1) medium size container of that separately. The eggs roll was on a smaller side, was nice and crunchy with adequate filling. The Won Ton Soup was excellent too, the broth was flavoured nicely, with green onion tops amongst the broth. The Won Tons in the soup have flavour too, with BBQ Pork pieces throughout the broth. Overall, was a very enjoyable meal, will probably be our “go to” place for quality Chines Food in Dundas, ON now (compared to other competitors in the immediate area). Read more
Is this how a chopsuey is supposed to taste and be like? Ordered in from Chan's Chinese Restaurant and noticed that the seafood chopsuey is 95% bean sprouts and onions. So I separated the seafood bits and the sprouts, this is what it looks like. The broth wasn't anything special ... either, I wish there was more going on with the dish. I'm no chopsuey connoisseur, but it didn't feel right. Not recommended. Read more
