Food was terrible . home fries were so hard a fork wouldn't go in them . my scrambled eggs were just an omelette cut into pieces. My sausage was under cooked. By bacon was so brittle and hard. However my pancakes were very good . nobody ever came to top ... up our coffee . over all the place was filthy. There was food scraps on the floor and under the tables . the bathroom floors were sticky as fly paper. You could feel the suction on your shoes. They have just recently become the honest lawyer and the place has lost all its charm and quality. Been there many times but today was my last. Used to love the place . The manager or I think she was the manager was too busy chatting with someone and having coffee and showing them the changes since the change over to notice the filth and dirt on the floors. What a shame a very nice place has gone to hell . food was nasty both me and my companion had lousy breakfasts. I won't be going there any more . I'm not hard to please but having been here before and to see how bad it has gone down hill was sad. It was 11am so I don't know if they had just had a mad rush leave but it was far from busy and three waitress were working .There's no excuse one of them couldn't run a broom over the floor. Great little country diner. Best options are the all-day breakfast menu which is reasonably priced and always comes with lots of food. There is a kids' menu which we never really make use of as it's usually easier just to share items from the regular menu. The non-breakfast items are sometimes hit-or-miss ... but some of the favourites are the chicken wings and hamburgers. Service is decent and there's a never ending supply of coffee :) Read more

Was stopping through with my family. Placed looked well enough until we walked inside. Placed seemed dirty. My mother ordered a tea and got a cup that clearly wasnt washed. The rest ordered diet coke that tasted more like dish water then coke. Fries were uncooked and tasted off. Steaks ... were extremely hard to cut. Servers seemed like they couldnt be bothered to serve you. Owner came in and grabbed money from the till and left. This is what happens when children run a restaurant. Never come here. Read more

This is our go-to breakfast place and have liked it for a long time. Recently though, it seems like they don't care anymore. When there are only 5 or 6 tables on the go, there is no need to wait for service. I don't want to have to wait and ... finally be forced to get up and ask for things: water, coffee, doggie box, bill. Breakfast food is easy and quick to cook and serve. When people wait more than 10 minutes for a simple breakfast, that's too long. I was a breakfast cook for 4 years, so I know. When I look at the kitchen staff there is never a sense of urgency. Quality has become hit or miss: if the the potatoes look burnt, they are! If the bacon looks undercooked, it is! Cleanliness is becoming a problem as well. Food stuck to cutlery and cups is unacceptable. Unhappy customers won't take the time to tell the owners of problems... they'll just stop being customers. We have had great meals in the past. Today's food was a disappointment. Hash browns/breakfast potatoes were overcooked and over seasoned. They seem to be different from the last time we visited. French fries had a fish taste. Skillet meal was light on the eggs and the meat. Not a ... value today. Service was great - friendly and attentive to our large group. Read more
