The coffee doesn't taste good. Service is not very friendly. Limited coffee options at 7pm on a Saturday. Overall a clean restaurant and comfy chairs.

Tall East Indian guy who's always working is the only person who's ever been rude, his service is absolutely terrible and happens to be the one serving all of the random times I used to go in. If I want a coffee I make me way over to the Starbucks ... because I'd rather have the Internet and service that sucks but sucks a lot less than here. In general the staff don't even know their own products well enough to craft them according to the display right in front of them, it's pretty despicable, purposely not garnishing their drinks because they're too lazy to grab the garnish and being charged $6 for a medium is ridiculous to me. Every other coffee culture seems to have their products and service in much better shape than this location, the owners also half ass things as well, I strongly discourage this place as a place to study at. From being in the downtown Hamilton area quite frequently you get much better service and products at the Tim Hortons, mulberry and even homegrown Hamilton where staff goes over and beyond and products aren't crappy and over priced for something coming out of a machine. Had been to this place with my wife returning from Niagara Falls today. Simply loved the quiet and elegant decor. And with extended menu choices compared with other main stream Canadian Coffee shops, first time I felt I'm not in a typical coffee shop. I tried Wicked Thai Chicken Soup and ... my wife had Tomato Garden Veg Soup with Blueberry Muffin.Simply delicious. Friendly and courteous staff. With Free Wi-fi and restaurant like ambiance, I definitely would go back to this place - just to see how else this place can surprice us. Read more

While on business in Hamilton I was looking for something quiet, with wifi to enjoy a nice coffee outside of my hotel room or business meetings. Upon entry I was impressed with the very nicely appointed decor, fire place going. Not too busy. Prior to ordering I wanted to remove my bag ... and bulky coat at a table as it was cold that day. While in the process of doing this I received an important call that needed to be answered. About 1 minute into my call I had an individual towering over demanding, not politely explaining that I needed to order something or leave. Keep in mind I was on a phone call. I explained I would be 1 minute and that I intended to order, that's why I was there. For the next couple minutes I was glared at uncomfortably by two people behind the counter, one staring a hole right through me. I gathered up my stuff and promptly left without a word. I was floored. I failed to mention I was in a business suit, very well dressed and treated like I'm some hobo off the street. I never tasted a coffee, or baked good my entire visit was about 4 minutes and I will never return. I would never suggest anyone spend one cent in this place. There is a new Starbucks opening soon in the Hotel I stayed at. How anyone expects to stay in business with the awful manner in which they deal with customers is beyond me. This is the best Coffee shop in Hamilton Downtown which I have waited since long time. I visited twice these place and and I actually like most part are sitting arrangement, food varieties and staff itself. The bathrooms were also very clean. Thanks for having nice place in downtown, Hamilton.
