Swiss Chalet - Hamilton, Ontario

We came around 4 pm, earlier than the dinner rush. This may have been the problem because there appeared to only one server handling the bar and dining room. Service was slow until more staff showed up. The server was friendly. When we received our food, the fries were disappointing ... but the rest was as we expected. We have not been disappointed here before and we really are not disappointed now, but we will think twice before we come back aroind 4 pm again. Wanted to say the although the restaurant may need some updates the service from Marcy was amazing. She was one of the best we've had in years! Just have to say that we haven't been in store in a while but so happy to have Marcy as a server. If she could take care of us every time we would go way more often. She was amazing! So attentive and just wonderful and helpful with making everyone ... getting the right meals with the proper dietary requirements. She was so helpful! Servers were very friendly and made sure we had everything we wanted. Restaurant was ok in how clean it was on the tables. But the chairs are starting to show their age by peeling. So pretty horrible when you go in and buy 4 meals. 2 sandwich combos say they include bottles of pop which they refused to include or sell me? I dont understand. The sign says it. I ordered exactly what was on the sign. Wow. False advertising. Guess there goes another ... company down the drain. Sad. Read more
