The food here was excellent! I had the chicken season salad and my husband had the half chicken and we both thoroughly enjoyed our meals. We will definitely be back

Ordered the mixed platter to go. Chicken was good, so were the sides, rice, fries, and coleslaw. The brisket is the reason I hate takeout. Nice slices across the top of the container and slices of fat underneath. Dogs were happy.

I have eaten here before. I ordered take out from here but as they close early on Sunday at 8 pm, I had to call in the order at 730 instead of making an online order as the order system was down for the night. It is much ... easier to order online as more options are available compared to what is listed on the websites menu page. I could have saved money by entering the order online differently compared to how the worker on the phone entered the order. This is one of those places with tip options on the credit card payment machines with recommended options starting at 15%. Not sure why they expect me to tip that much on a pickup order. Even when ordering online for pick up there is no option to pay ahead so you are forced to pick a tip option while they are staring at you. The chicken is cooked well done and charred. If you like your chicken less cooked, this is not your place. The potatoes are much better than the fries. My girlfriend likes their Caesar salad, she orders it every time. Read more

Absolutely fantastic! Labour Day lunch really was a fantastic experience, owner asked us if we liked it , and interacted with us , waitress fantastic and food absolutely mind blowing ! Went down for the Art Crawl tonight and decided to give Charred a shot. My wife and I both got cocktail drinks, she went with the Chicken Sandwich, I went with the Brisket. We both chose mild dipping sauce and ended up splitting the sandwiches in half so ... we could each try both. The server let me know that she doesn't use the dipping sauce with the Brisket, and she was not wrong. There was so much flavor and it was absolutely delicious. The chicken on the other hand, was moist, but we had to use the dipping sauce due to lack of flavour. Definitely worth the price for the sandwiches, as everything was so fresh.
