First and last time here! Went in for 1/2 price wings. Waitress was very nice. Husband ordered 2 lbs of wings, which arrived looking very dry and hardly any meat. I love this pub slash restaurant right across home the staff know me well I was bit disappointed by the bangers meal not much flavor was pretty blend and small portion for the price paid for and was missing my gravy from my buffalo wrap. But otherwise I love this ... pub they have the coldest beer in town, best staff and recommend the fish and chips, wings, burger and nachos from there. Read more

The interior was nice. It was half priced wings, so we ordered a pop, a beer and 3 lbs of wings. We received our drinks no problem. When we got our wings, maybe 4of them had sauce on them, the rest nadda. So we ate the saucy wings and waited ... for the waitress to ask for more sauce, and a drink refill. After over 20 mins she finally came to our table, and no it wasn't very busy. Asked for a refill, and if we could have more sauce, which a few minutes later she did, in a small cup. Ate more wings that we had enough sauce for, and by this time they were colder than my beer. It's pushing 10pm there's still about a half dozen left, so we ask for a carry out. At first we're told no. The special isn't for carry out, if it was 2 or 3, no problem. Well there's 6 wings left, two of us that's three each. Love love love! Great atmosphere amazing food and drinks and live music on weekends. Service is great Sydney was our server she is amazing and it was my first visit and can’t wait to go back again. MY FAVOURITE ENGLISH PUB WITH MY MY FAVOURITE PREMIUM 🍺

Popped in on a whim, am very glad I did. This pub reminds me of the last time I went to Yorkshire! The food was delicious, the place was fun, and the service was warm. Shaun said it right "Let's go to the winchester, have a nice cold pint, and ... wait for this all to vlow over." If for no other reason you have to stop in for the deep fried jam butty! Read more
