Brassie Pub - Hamilton, Ontario

Went for mothers day. Food was awesome. Most of our party had fish and chips. Crispy batter thick fish. I had coconut shrimp tacos. OMG!!! They were amazing! Nothing bad to say.

Best Nachos in Hamilton!! I will, their food quality got a little lower since when they opened but recently it seems like they have been getting a lot better! Brassie is an Ancaster staple filled with tons of locals and travellers. Great Food, Great drinks, Great Atmosphere.

Update - tried calling 6 or 7 times to book a table of 12 for Sunday lunch. Phone rang for at least 10 rings during open hours but no answer and no machine. I guess I’ll try elsewhere in town. Unfortunate, I liked it here on our last visit. Our group ... of four had a very nice lunch here. I had the beef dip sandwich, while the others enjoyed the buffalo cauliflower and Brassie nachos. The Brassie Pub serves up the most delicious smoked brisket sandwich that I have ever eaten! The brioche bun, fried onions, and house-made horseradish mayo complemented the 24-hour smoked beef brisket perfectly. This sandwich was messy to eat because it was dripping with delicious flavour. Just what you'd expect from an English pub, casual and relaxed, but with upscale food. Good selection of beers and wine. Two outdoor patios. Very pleasant staff; received a friendly greeting and were told to sit where we like and she'd bring us our menus. Service was great... We asked ... to delay our food being brought out by half an hour and that was no problem - it arrived just when we asked for it. All the classics were on the menu plus some modern classics as well.
