I have found that there is a large variety of stores and restaurants. I am a senior so there is sometimes large distances between stores i need to go to because of all the open space in the centre. I preferred it when everything was under one roof . ... It was more comfortable you could go in the winter and take your coat off and go to all the stores you wanted to go to without having to put your coat back on as the stores were all next to each other rather then it is now as now there are several small groups of stores with open space between each group. The mall itself includes everything you need at one location, from pet needs to car items... my only complaint...and a daily one I must say while living there while my children were babies, would be how inconsiderate the thought process was when rebuilding from the old centre mall.... like who ... were they really trying to impress??!! We have some harsh weather in the winter time and now EVERY TRIP for mothers with strollers , or seniors with walkers will be a challenge and only possible while weather permitting...or even single or not strong people who need to rest often while carrying things far distances because they do not have the luxury of a car or fare for taxi.. ? I've had to get a sitter just to shop on snowy days because going from store to store through slush and traffic just isn't worth the trip while trying to control a stroller... So, overall, it was just okay. The variety of stores was decent, but nothing too extraordinary. I was able to find some items I needed, but it wasn't a mind-blowing shopping spree. The staff at the stores were friendly enough, but I did encounter a few instances where they seemed a ... bit disinterested or not very knowledgeable about the products. The prices were average, not too high but not super affordable either. I came in the late evening. Stores were still open and not busy with vehicle or pedestrian traffic. It was busy with emergency vehicles driving though from police, fire and EMS.
