Fireside - Halifax, Nova Scotia

New Owners, terrible management, terrible menu, no business. the owners sit in the restaurant day in and day out and harass the employees as they work, lots of customer complaints, lots of employee turnover. Will likely go out of business within a year.

Service was great. Fish burger was amazing and chicken panini even better. Spent our vacation trying to find great food and finally found it here.

Martini Monday is still a great deal but it has lost so much from the move to the new location. Does not have the same ambiance as the old place. Must be on hard times, they're using a free Spotify account for their music, ads and all.

I was a big fan of the old location but hadn't been to the new one until now. The atmosphere has the same character but is more open and a lot brighter now. The menu has some new items as well as some old favourites. I think I like the ... new Fireside better than the old one. Read more

The food wasn't very good. The chicken was terrible. It was so dry. There's not enough water in the world to help fix that. The risotto tasted like a microwave dinner. The spinach dip was very small. I definitely would not recommend going. The place was dead empty during a ... dinner rush, so that speaks for itself. Read more
