Sicilian Pizza - Halifax, Nova Scotia

Felt kinda divey, which can mean amazing food. Pizza wasn't freshest, but good size for $6.95. Donair was decent, I've had better. The bar may have been set high from being recommended here, but I'm not convinced it's THE place for the East Coast Donair experience.

People say that this place is the original pizza corner spot. But, in my opinion, the pizza is really bad. It is super dry and way too salty. The ingredients on the pizza did not taste fresh. People like this place as a good spot to get pizza at 2:00 ... in the morning. That is what this place is for. Also, 8 dollars for a slice of pizza is ridiculous. Classic pizza just down the road is much better and at lunch a slice is only 5 bucks and the slices are the same size and have fresher ingredients on the pizza and the sauce is much better. Donair as good as anywhere else. I recommend ordering half of the sweet donair sauce or even ordering it on the side if it's not your thing. They have other sauce options too which is nice. Veg pizza looked nice. Medium is a good enough size.

We were staying at a hotel nearby and were a little tipsy, so it made sense to come here for a donair and garlic fingers. It was busier than other places around so that was a good sign. We got a large donair and it was pretty big, messy and ... tasty. The garlic fingers were some of the best we've eaten. Great service and atmosphere especially drunk at 1:00 in the morning. I actually went two days in a row for a slice a pizza and wasn't disappointed. Their pizza is delicious and it's a huge slice. My partner has their Donair, he enjoyed it. Their customer service is fine but a little cold. Other than that we had a good experience.
