May 2024 5* Visited the place with friend to find good Indian place. The restaurant is not big and has limited seating space so it can be busy during weekend. You may need to wait. You can not reserve place in advance. It is first cum first basis. Here is our food ... list: - Soya Chaap masala ***** - Dal Makhni ***** - Garlic naan ***** - Jeera rice ***** It is not fine dining place and not wheelchair friendly. Staff is friendly. The manager had a cradle next to counter and baby was sleeping while she was working. Very heart touching. What need to be improved? Little bit customer service and reservation process. The place can be busy so you may need to wait. However, there is no system to manage the wait list and done informally. Someone tried to jumped the queue and I complained to manager. She asked those people to vacate the place. It upsets them. Manager was upset that I asked. Later she did not talk properly even after leaving good tips so I was not happy. One of the best Indian food I have had. However, it was so crowded whenever I come. I have to line up for so long outside the door and the space is also small.

I have been going to this restaurant from last 5 years.Their food has been good but this time. I went to the restaurant around 12:30 pm ordered Noodles and Manchurian.It was stale. The taste was awful like nothing was prepared fresh.I just couldn’t finish. I complained about getting stale ... food and was offered to change the portion but this the only change i could see was they added crisp veg rest was same.I ended up falling sick.Not a good experience. Best indian food in halifax. I have few dishes but all of them were perfectly cooked and the quantity was worth the money. My personal favourite was Pav Bhaji (super tasty).

Very delicious Indian food! We had Butter Chicken, Paneer Butter Masala, plain rice, two orders of garlic naan and mango lassi! All so tasty. When we ordered, the server asked "Normal spicy or Indian spicy?" We loved that question! The normal spicy was spicy enough for me!! The flavours were so ... rich and deep; the sauces for both dishes was sooo yummy, we were spooning it up. The butter chicken was very tender. My first time having paneer, it was delicious! The restaurant was very busy but the staff were on top of things. The food came out within 15 minutes of ordering it. Wait staff were very attentive, checking in multiple times and clearing our dishes quickly. Overall a great experience. Will definitely return!! Read more
