Canadiana Restaurant & Lounge - Halifax, Nova Scotia

I had the Mousaka with Greek salad and lemon potatoes and it was amazing! Very flavourful meal and tasted authentic. They have an extensive menu including all day breakfast. Great prices and good service. Will definitely be back.

They do not hold off on their fish! The halibut lightly breaded was amazing. The mashed potatoes with turkey gravy was amazing. The garden vegetables with seasoning and butter was amazing. Great place, the food was well portioned. Very nice staff and delicious food. We split the chocolate cheesecake and it was the perfect end to our dining experience. 10/10 we will be back.

This was our second visit to this establishment and we found our waitress was friendly and prompt. Due to a olive pit that had come apart from an olive and hidden amongst the greenery in the salad my husband broke a tooth. When we brought this to the attention ... of the waitress she reported the issue to the manager. The manager was evasive , uncaring and seemed to have the attitude that we were telling an untruth. We were given a free meal and no follow up from the manager or the owner in the upcoming days now weeks. We can not recommend this restaurant in all fairness and will not return. Read more

Service was horrible the minute we walked through the door. The hostess seemed irritated that we entered the restaurant and only gave us 1/2 of our menus. The waitress did not serve our meal as advertised in the menu and told one of us that we didn't order a salad, ... when she asked what dressing we wanted earlier. My food was good and warm, but everyone else's food was cold and missing key components. Also, our water glasses remained empty for all of our meal. Never coming back to this establishment!
