I had the Shawarma Chicken Bowl at Mezza Lebanese and enjoyed it. However, it reminded me of an old Wendy's commercial..."where's the beef?"; in that the chicken in this dish was so minimal in content and chopped so small it was hard to discern if it was present. I very kindly asked for the extra hummus if possible, the guy with long manbun was kind of rude about it. He gave me extra hummus but made me feel like I did something wrong. Also should think about customer care it’s like when entering we are disturbing them.. please ... check for quality of the food. Shawarma is very dry hope so i don’t get ill after eating it..place and location are very good but customer care should be reviewed if you guys want to franchise this brand. Read more

Came here from subway so that i could support local and eat fresh instead of franchise subway. I got a large shwarama wrap which was a normal size pita and they added the veggies then some small size cup of chicken they follow, which they filled half way. Great food and service. Restaurant was clean. We had a chicken souvlaki wrap and donair wrap. Totally satisfied with the whole deal.

Had my first donair at Mezza and it did not disappoint! Tasted moreish and lived up to its status as Halifax’s official food. Also helps that the staff was speedy with my order.
