Tim Hortons served me the absolute worst iced coffee imaginable. It tasted like dirty dishwater mixed with bitterness. To my horror, I saw the barista lazily mix in cold brew, creating a concoction that was undrinkable. The taste was beyond awful – sour, stale, and utterly revolting. The staff were ... not only incompetent but also rude and dismissive when I complained. This was by far the most disgusting beverage I've ever had. It felt like an insult to coffee lovers everywhere. I visit this tim hortons almost every morning during the work week. Open hours SAY 5 am but it's always like 5-10 minutes after 5 that the door is unlocked because the opening staff sits outside for a cigarette before unlocking the doors. How long does it take to repair torn apart bench seats? I've been a regular for little over a year and a half and ever since I started coming the seats have been torn and dirty and just keep getting worse? On top of that, the tables rarely get cleaned so ... not only do customers have to sit on torn, dirty and uncomfortable seats they have to eat on dirty tables. Same goes with the men's bathroom, it's almost always dirty with piss all over the floor around the urinal and even around the toilet, a broken garbage can that's constantly overflowing with garbage from a lack of proper cleaning. Some of the staff (mostly the afternoon/evening staff) serve some customers with ignorant attitudes and speak about customers in other languages so the customers don't know what's being said about them which makes customers uncomfortable. All of these issues have been ongoing issues for at least the last year and a half of me going there daily and when a person makes complaints they get threatened to be removed and trespassed by an employee who claims to be the store owner but doesn't want to identify themselves because they would rather tell customers to go somewhere else rather than provide proper customer service and customer satisfaction. I'm sending a report to the government of Nova Scotia to have this store investigated as to why they allow the store to be constantly dirty and have employees who treat customers with ignorance. For at least 3 weeks one of 2 exit doors has been out of order as the glass has been smashed. This should have been fixed immediately as it is an emergency escape in the event of fire, or other disaster. Not addressing this contravenes the Fire Code. I feel ... certain if a Fire Inspector was aware of the situation, they would shut this establishment down. The restaurant itself is beyond dirty. It is positively unhygienic - torn upholstery that cannot be adequately sanitized, tables and floors are seldom cleaned and the mens bathroom is disgusting with overflowing garbage in a garbage bin that has had a broken door for as long as I have been coming here. The hand dryer has also been out of order as well and now the urinal is also out of order. When I have spoken to the manager I was told that all these issues will be "fixed" in a few months when "Head Office" is planning to cover half the cost of renovations, but to do them now would mean the restaurant would have to foot the bill. I very much doubt that a Health Inspector would allow these conditions to continue, nor would they accept the restaurant's excuse for why they aren't addressing these issues. Generally staff are friendly and efficient and the tea and cookies are OK, but the other issues are making it harder for me to continue patronising your establishment. Read more

So, I had a bit of a rocky start with this place when I ordered an Iced Coffee, but I gotta give credit where it's due—they really turned things around after I shared my feedback. Since then, they've been hitting the mark with great service. My usual drill involves snagging an ... Iced Coffee, maybe throwing in a breakfast sandwich or some egg bites for good measure. They've got their act together during the weekday morning hustle, consistently nailing my order. The food and drink are solid, no complaints from me. I'm a creature of habit in the mornings, just looking to get in and out, and they've got that down to a science. Quick service, on-point orders, and all within a reasonable timeframe.
