Our favorite spot in Halifax. Amazing quality for the price, and the portions are always huge. It is so good every single time, you need to try it. The crispy fried chicken is the best, I recommend the appetizer plate of it vs the noodle bowl. The crispiness is just ... spot on and it comes with pickles on the side. I’ve been coming to this awesome restaurant for years and it’s one of my favourites in Halifax. I’ve always ordered the Crispy Chicken Ramen (which I Love), but recently I started getting the Spicy Pork Chasu Abura Soba. It’s amazing. The pickle plate goes great with it and I usually ... get a marble pop too! First time dining in at Truly Tasty and it was amazing. If we could rare it more than 5 stars, we would. We got the gnocchi appetizer, a soba, a ramen and a rice bowl and every single dish was generous, flavourful, and beautiful. Will be back to try the ... other items on the menu. My husband and I just ate there for the first time. We ordered spicy tan tan Ramen, spicy kimchi Ramen, and the fried chicken to start. Everything was delicious, portions were huge. I couldn't finish my Ramen and have enough left over for an entire other meal. This was the best Ramen ... we've ever had, fresh, flavorful, ready quick, excellent broth, and the service was perfection. 10/10 would recommend! Read more

We shared the fried chicken appetizer. It came with spicy mayo and daikon. I must admit, the daikon was the perfect hint of sweetness to pair with the chicken. I thoroughly enjoyed it.
