Pizza Delight - Halifax, Nova Scotia

This was our second time going since the renovations and it was really busy the first time and we actually quite enjoyed the pizza, garlic fingers, the salads and the service. This second visit did not measure up sadly. Perhaps because it was day time and much less busy. Some ... booth seats are severely deteriorated, some of the chairs at the tables were wobbly, and the table tops were sticky and looked unclean (even if wiped down). They need a re-varnish at least. The service this round was OK, not top notch like the first visit. Our salads had less chicken, and the garlic fingers weren't as good. Not sure what happened but chances are we won't be going back. I went there for dinner with my wife. After waiting for few minutes at the door, one of the servers sat us down and gave us menus. We sat for 30 minutes without anyone coming over to our table. The place wasn't busy, and several employees were walking around. As I ... was about to leave, a server came and took our order. Haven't ate here in ages. We don't have one locally and it was a very nice treat. Restaurant was clean and the service was absolutely exquisite. The atmosphere was relatively calm because there weren't that many people here today. It was a very enjoyable experience

We ordered the Kids BAD dog Pizza And it came over baked and very dry. Also in their menu the boneless chicken wings served as Chicken tenders (sort of chicken nuggets) and when I asked why, the waitresses said this is what we offer, and she will inform her manager. I ... had to accept it as my kids were hungry and we had no time to wait. Restaurant was empty, no ambience , staff were missing or behind the counter on their phones. Lets start with the men's bathroom, not sure what was going on with the soap dispenser but it was a plastic bottle with top off in the sink, the touchless paper towel dispenser wasn't working and the mirror looked like it was cleaned with ranch salad dressing. My wife ... said the same thing was happening in the woman's bathroom. The table and menus were sticky and benches loose. We ordered a 2 topping pizza and we received a 1 topping pizza. The waitress did her best and rectified the problem. The dough was super thin and mixed with the grease it was super soggy. Overall the food was not delightful.
