Flipburger - Halifax, Nova Scotia

The food here is amazing. Amazing burger patties and the toppings they use just enhance that. Also their fries are really good. This place is highly recommended. They are pretty quick here as well considering everything is cooked to order.

This place is definitely where you should be eating if you feel like eating a burger. Because of the options they have available for burgers n for the toppings it might end up being a little expensive than McDonalds etc. But if you want something simple they have bunch of ... toppings for free n no cost to you. Me n my wife were there she had a combo n I just had a burger with few additional stuff and it came to $26. Overall this is a good place. They kept it clean n the service is good n fast. Food is freshly made after the order. May be little bit of marination of the meats before cooking will give a very good flavor to the burgers. This is my first time. FlipBurger is a solid gourmet burger option in Halifax. I've been tainted by other places that cost 25% more per combo and don't bring the flavour or value that he price would warrant. But FlipBurger is good! There are the normal burger options with toppings you can choose, or you ... can pick a special burger, like the Southwestern one I had. Good sized burger with a lot of flavour. I didn't really like the fries, but my wife did, so that's kind of a wash. The restaurant itself has a cool layout, and there are good bar seats to do some people watching while waiting for your food or eating it. You have to forgive its somewhat sterile atmosphere because it hasn't been here for decades like some of its competitors in the area. I has nice details though like serving your food on wooden trays, and the chill atmosphere. I would suggest that they add more light, as some of the ... corners are a little dark. On to the food: Really good! It lives up to its claim of being "Premium, local, fresh, handcrafted, never frozen.. etc" The music is pretty good too. Not trying too hard, just a little of everything.
