I have had nothing but a great experience here. Today my best friends brother and I were in the city today and on our way home we were hit by another car our car was towed and we had to wait for our drive, long story short this place was ... so welcoming and understanding of our circumstances and gave nothing but the best hospitality to us. There beef and broccoli is out of this world! To the owner and to the staff thank so much for giving us a place to just chill and have a bite and drink after a long day! Absolutely amazing service! We live in the south end and the Smitty's by Spring garden is our go-to... now that that's gone we mustered the courage for the 8 minute drive out to Clayton park, and were welcomed with warm arms. Even though they were packed, we were whisked in and brought to a ... table almost immediately. (Coffee was ready as we were sat too) Our server, Jessica, was one of the friendliest, quickest, and enjoyable servers we've ever experienced. Cracked jokes, was quick with the food, and provided the utmost service possible. Food was delicious, in classic Smitty's fashion, and we were greeted with smiles from beginning to end. The food was delicious... But I do wish the waffles were more chrispy and not light and fluffy... But was still good 😊

As someone who works overnight, I love and appreciate that Smitty's offers regular menu options all day. I'm not the biggest fan of their breakfast menu, but, their fish & chips is amazing!

From the moment I walked in, I was greeted with a warm and friendly atmosphere. The staff was incredibly attentive and made me feel right at home. The menu offered a ... great variety of options, and the food was absolutely delicious. I tried the breakfast special, and it was cooked to perfection. The portion sizes were generous, and the prices were very reasonable, offering excellent value for the quality of the food. The restaurant was spotlessly clean, and the ambiance was cozy and inviting. It's a perfect place for a family meal or a casual get-together with friends. I can't recommend Smitty's Family Restaurant enough. It's a fantastic spot for a delicious meal and top-notch service.
