Atmosphere is cafeteria looking, modern and austere with no warmth. Our server Ethan was great. I don't usually write reviews, but the service here the other day was impeccable. I was caught in a rainstorm and passing the Atlantica, so I popped into Seasons to get a glass of wine and wait for the storm to pass. I ordered a drink and in the meantime, ... the bartender had ordered a towel for me from housekeeping so I could get sorted and dry off. I felt right at home and taken care of. I've also eaten food here in the past and not only is it well-conceived and executed, the kitchen is also excellent for dietary restrictions, including having an excellent gluten-free selection. Seasons had the potential of being one of my best brunch experiences in the city; but the meal unfortunately just missed the mark. The ingredients were obviously top notch and everything was seasoned (pun intended) to perfection. The chowder was one of the best I've had and the smoked salmon ... eggs benedict looked like a dream. The only snag was that the eggs and the hollandaise sauce were ice cold when they arrived, even though the chowder was brought well beforehand. The easy things first: buffet breakfast good, coffee excellent, restaurant clean and quiet, price reasonable. Would give it a 4* on those things. We were catching up with friends we hadn't seen in 20 years - had limited time. Clearly engaged in deep conversation. Waiter awkwardly interrupted too many times ... and tried too hard to converse with us ... even offered to dance for us. There is being appropriately friendly and then trying too hard. Seasons has some great much dishes. My Favorite so far are the hummus, and the maple curry chicken penne. The Pita was fresh, the hummus was flavourful and the pasta was more curry with a hint of sweetness that I found absolutely amazing. Very filling dishes. Highly recommend visiting this ... place.
