Your Father’s Moustache - Halifax, Nova Scotia

I came here a few months ago for dinner. Ordered a burger, I think it came with onion rings on it, anyways when I get my food the order is wrong. The server brought me a regular hamburger, which was fine, I didn’t complain, I was hungry so I just ... ate the plain burger. After my meal I asked the server if I could be charged for the burger I was served (since it was less expensive than the one I had originally ordered). She apologized and said she would get the manager to adjust the bill. At this point I wasn’t upset, I was fed and happy, just wanting to pay for the meal I received. Everything was fine until this manager came to my table. She started speaking to me in an aggressive tone, saying I “should have let them know sooner”, as if this is my fault? Maybe she was having a bad day, but this was one of the worst experiences I’ve had with restaurant management in this city. Read more

Visit: June 2024 Had the lobster roll with broccoli soup. The lobster rollcwss my first here in Halifax, but it was quite basic and didn't offer a ton of flavour I felt. The atmosphere is great, and the theming was really consistent throughout

Great ambiance, great music, with the option of outdoors and indoors. Best Pina Colada I have had in Hlifax! The servers were extremely friendly and helpful. The food was delicious and had a beautiful presentation!

I went to this restaurant for a Deaf event. One of the servers new sign language and was able to serve the deaf people adequately and charismatically. As a gluten-free person, I had a delicious haddock taco and didn't feel the gluten-free options were any less delicious than the regular ... options! Prices are high, but fair for the overall experience. Will definitely be returning. Read more
