Came here for wing night - wasn’t that great. The wings didn’t have any seasoning. The waiters also weren’t very attentive. The pop is too expensive for just a can. The bathrooms were also smelly.

Come here if you are looking for a zero judgment kind of night. I almost only go on Thursday for karaoke but occasionally in the evening for a game of pool with friends. The people who sing karaoke range greatly from really good to really bad but it is all ... about the spirit. The food is not what I write home about also the beer on tap has not been very good in the past. Now I just buy bottled beer here and I am happy. It can get pretty packed on Thursday night when the students are in town but this is fun because they are still a good crowd and also love singing and dancing along with karaoke. As someone else said this is a Prime dive bar and I wouldn’t come with expectations other than to expect they serve beer and a great time relies on your attitude when you walk down the stairs. First time visiting this bar and it was EXTREMLY awful. On top of waiting almost 30 mins for a waitress (understandable, it was a busy night), hunger began to kick in. Waitress comes to my table, gets order from my friend, proceeds to skip me, then goes to the opposite ... table, I try to get her attention by waving but i guess she did not realize (Okay, cool it happens, i'll just wait till she's done with the opposite table then get her attention to make my order)..She's finally done so I say hello but she did not hear, it was LOUD. As she proceeded to leave I reached out and gave her a tiny pat on her arm to get her attention, this woman will yell at me "DON'T TOUCH ME" in the most rude and disgusting manner I have ever experienced...like excuse me woman, I barely touched you and it was only to remind you that I would like to make an order. This bar itself is pretty good but the individual who runs Karaoke is completely unhinged and cannot handle speaking to people in any manner. This bar should be ashamed of who they bring in for special events. Based on the interaction I witnessed tonight, I cannot recommend this place to ... anyone who wants to have a pleasant evening. Apparently the oldest bar in Halifax. Decently priced cold beverages, lots of pool tables and lots of screens for sports. Quality dive bar if that's what you are looking for. Odd decor that seemed to span many decades.
