Gorgeous, relaxing atmospheric wine bar. Perfect for some casual drinks. Staff are very knowledgeable and recommendations are superb.

It was a lovely place. Atmosphere is good, food way good, waitress was very kind and helpful with the menu. One small problem though, I did see what looked like to be a rat or mouse running up along the rafters on the ceiling. I was very shocked but a ... bit too embarrassed to tell our waitress. Can’t recommend this place enough. Fantastic wine selection, including great NS producers. (Make sure to ask what’s off menu!) Live music nights are a genuine treat. Gnocchi, cheesecake, and the charcuterie board are standouts and if you’re lucky enough to sit at the bar, Heather is a gem.

One of my favourite places to visit! The atmosphere is perfect, especially during the live music nights. The servers are incredibly friendly and knowledgeable, and are never condescending when asked questions. The food is extremely filling, flavourly, and generously portioned. Very big fan of the wine flights for when you want ... to try a new variety but aren't prepared to commit to a full glass. The servers also have great recommendations! I experienced Obladee last night during the Dine Around Halifax event. I was *highly* impressed with this restaurant and wine bar. The freshly prepared food was beautifully presented and tasted even better. The service from everyone involved could not have been better. The atmosphere was warm and welcoming. The wine ... selection was vast and varied. This exceptional establishment in downtown Halifax deserves five stars because the lovely team knows how to make the guests feel special and important.
