Cherry Blossom Sushi Bar - Guelph, Ontario

The best sushi restaurant I’ve ever been to! The atmosphere is great and it’s not crowded like most other places I’ve tried. I haven’t lived in Guelph since 2019 but I make the trip here just for this restaurant multiple times a year ❤️

- Lots of parking in the plaza. - The interior decor is very well done — one of the best for a sushi spot in Ontario. - The restaurant was clean! - Service was fast (on a Friday, around lunch). - One of the best sushi spots in the Guelph/Waterloo/Kitchener/Cambridge area. Definitely better than ... any sushi spot in Cambridge. Comparable to the top sushi spots in Waterloo/Kitchener. - For two people, it was about $60 (after tip and tax), for "a la carte" (non-all-you-can-eat). Good pricing. How they can improve: - Reduce (or remove) the sugar in the green tea. - Serve cold sushi — instead of room-temperature. Read more

What a beautiful sushi place! Cherry blossoms and very artistic. Food was good. Service was great. They're quick. I would recommend this place if you want to dine somewhere more esthetically pleasing but still do all you can eat. Easy to find and lots of parking.

Outrageous. We come here all the time and always enjoyed the food, but recently the service has been terrible. 1. We were a group of 3 and 2 of us were forced to give a 15% tip and weren’t informed about it, but the other 1 was given the option to ... tip. No where did it say a 15% gratuity was automatically applied for groups less than 4. I went here before as a party of 2 and was forced to give a 15% tip for poor service. Other times we were given the option to tip. 2. The waitress asked us if we’ve eaten here before, which we said we did. We’ve came here for over 2 years, and came recently last month. We were never informed before that ordering dessert meant we couldn’t order more food. We ordered 1 ice cream, then continued to order food. When we were almost done the waitress took the tablet form us and said we couldn’t order more food because each table gets only 1 order of dessert per table then they’re done. We’ve ordered desserts throughout the years and throughout the meal and never had an issue. She only let us order more dessert after we expressed our issues to her, but she didn’t give us the tablet back. We had to tell her what we wanted but we couldn’t order exactly what we wanted because we felt judged since we’re technically “finished” our meal. When we used to come and ordered dessert we were asked if we wanted to get more food, but never “this is your last order ok.” Overall, the inconsistency and miscommunication is very displeasing. If this is an all you can eat, let us eat more dessert then. This has happened to us many times now and this is not a one off situation. They need to communicate this better and not expect tips for poor service. Read more

This is the best place to go for All You Can Eat (AYCE) sushis. My husband and I love to go to Guelph to Cherry Blossom. 🌸 We’ve been going there for many years now. Food is always fresh, and comes fast. There’s always a server passing by, removing extra plates, ... and ready to answer questions.
