Who Gives a Schnitz - Guelph, Ontario

Awesome food and service. Made fresh, never greasy at all, always fills me up. The guys are always super friendly and easy-going, and it's always fast. I probably eat more schnitz than I should, is there such a thing?

Literally my favourite restaurant in Guelph. I'm completely obsessed with their "Oozing Schnitz" and deep fried Oreos. The food is really tasty. Super friendly staff, open late hours for the nightlife scene. Everyone I've brought to this restaurant has loved it. A must try!

Came in here looking for something different than the usual fast food and they make a great sandwich. Lots of different choices depending on how you like it. I went for the dipped schnitz and it did not disappoint! Great service also. Good Stuff!

Staff was friendly, location looks really slick. I had the Gorilla cheese...three times this week. It's the size my arm. I just hate them for definitely making me a fat monster by the end of the year. And the deep fried oreos...drool

I really want this place to be successful. I passed by this joint for over a year and always wanted to try it. I finally went twice within the past two weeks and I'm left slightly disappointed. Going in, I was surprised that it was a schnitzel sandwich shop. I've always ... had a traditional schnitzel so I was pleasantly surprised. The staff were also very friendly. On my first go I ordered "The Go To" which had two sauces, lettuce, tomato, cheddar, sauteed onions, sauteed mushroom, and a huge schnitzel piece. It smelt great and my mouth was salivating when I was bringing it home. I took my first bite and... didn't really get anything out of it. Nothing stood out. It tasted ok, but nothing popped. :/ On next trip I decided to add sauerkraut to The Go To thinking that was the missing link. Something bitter to go with the breaded schnitzel. Again, smelt great. Took a bite and... nothing again. I could not even taste the sauerkraut. I ended up slathering hot mustard on the sandwich which gave it that pop I was looking for. I also got a poutine which was fine for the price. Frozen fries, mixed cheese (to be fair, a lot :D), and very, very salty gravy. I would not recommend it unless they swap that gravy. Ultimately I was hoping for more of a bite to my sandwich. Left disappointing and will wait a while before I try it again. Read more
