A&W Restaurants - Guelph, Ontario

A&W is my go to spot when I want a burger and fries. This particular restaurant does not have enough counter staff. One person to handle the drive through and restaurant orders is not enough. They managed very well but it seemed stressful.

This is the third time in a row I’ve ordered and gotten an incorrect order. Tonight I asked for no bacon as I don’t eat pork. I get home and there’s pork on my burger. I have tried calling numerous times and it seems ... like the number is off the hook. Tired of wasting my money here. I will say, this time the person on the cash was nice. Had a spicy chicken burger and fries at this location. The diet root beer is awful, but the server got me a regular one and gave me ketchup and mayo as requested. They were very nice and the food was pretty good, alongside being well-priced with the coupon book.

Was super disappointed with my recent visit to this location. I had ordered a Mama burger and within 2 min, unfortunately it had fallen to the floor. I returned to the front and asked if it’d be possible to have something done, but the manager was unsympathetic and did not ... offer a refund or a re-make of the burger. She also said it was my fault, which I accepted but doesn’t make for great customer service. It was a disappointment given that a million dollar company can’t spare one burger, and lost a customer. Aditi, who was working at the front counter, was smiling and seemed genuinely happy to serve. She accommodated my last minute requests, without attitude, and the resulting meal was hot, fresh, and really good.
